Discovering Morocco from Tangier
Day 1 – Tangier – Chefchaouen (Blue City)
On our first day of 8 days Tour from Tangier, we will meet you at the airport/port of Tangier, then we will drive you to Chefchaouen, while admiring the amazing views of the Rif and Tetouan mountains. In Chefchaouen, we will spend an amazing night enjoying the beauty of the town. Chefchaouen is one of the amazing towns in Morocco, with all its walls painted blue, expressing a sense of peace and beauty, along with its impressive Medina, with narrow streets, blue buildings, Uta EL-Hammam Plaza and the restored Kasbah.
Day 2 – Chefchaouen – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, we will go to Fez to spend the night there, crossing through Wazan and other Riffian towns, Volubilis, to see the Roman ruins and learn about its history, then to Meknes, to have lunch and visit its famous Bab Gate of El Mansour and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
Day 3 – Excursion to Fes
We will spend another night in Fes while exploring its interesting and famous places throughout the day. We will visit the old Medina with its small streets and alleys, the “Mellah”, the first Jewish barracks built in Morocco, the Tile cooperative, the Attarine and Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the tanneries, the gate of the royal palace and the oldest and most famous . university of the world « Al Qaraouiyine next to the incredible views of the Medina.
Day 4 – Fez – Ifran – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
After breakfast, we will travel to Merzouga, to spend an amazing night, as we pass through the Tizi-N-Talghemt pass, the Ziz gorges, the High Atlas mountains. You will notice part of the desert as you approach Errachidia, where we will have a delicious lunch with a berber nomad family, Ziz valley, Erfoud, Rissani, up to Merzouga, where you will be greeted with a cup of Moroccan mint tea, followed by a camel ride , to enjoy the place, towards our camp, to have dinner while listening to Berber music.
Day 5 – Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Try to get up early, if you want to see a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara. We will ride the camels to the hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast, before driving to the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night, passing through the Saghro Mountains and the Todra Gorges.
Day 6 – Dades Valley – Valley of the Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will travel to Marrakech to spend the night. Along the way, we will cross the road of a thousand Kasbah, where you can take some memorable photos, The Valley of Roses in Kelaat M’gouna, Ouarzazate city, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which belonged to T-Hami El Glaoui, the last Berber chiefs in the 20th century, where he used to settle during his travels from the Sahara to Marrakech, and it is also a Unesco World Heritage Site, then we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, and the beautiful view of the Berber villages.
Day 7 – Sightseeing visit to Marrakech
We will spend another night in Marrakech while we explore its most historical, important and cultural buildings and places. The Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Tower. We will also walk through hundreds of handicrafts and souks while having lunch in Jemaa El Fna square, and free time to discover the city on our own in the afternoon.
Day 8 – Marrakech Airport
After breakfast our driver will take you to the airport and end our 8 days Tour from Tangier.
